In early 2013 a Jersey horse, River du Nord, was sent to us by breeders and owners John Mercier and Jane Edgar.  Despite local trainers having worked with her intensively, John and Jane felt River du Nord had not attained her full potential racing in Jersey and enlisted our help. In July and August 2013 we travelled to Jersey with River du Nord for three races. Success was immediate, our first trip seeing her win her first flat race on island, she came third on our second trip and on the August bank holiday, infront of the biggest Jersey crowd in many years, ridden by Jemma Marshall, she won a closely fought race, the very prestigious 'Clarendon'.  River du Nord is continuing her training at Woodhayes, has run well in her first race in the UK and we are looking forward to travelling back to Jersey with her for the 2014 season
